Only Holliston residents may reserve passes in advance. Non-residents may reserve and check out passes no more than one hour before closing on the day before they wish to use the pass or anytime on the actual day. This is to give Holliston residents every opportunity to use a pass first. NO EXCEPTIONS. Passes are picked up in the Children's room. A valid library card is required and may be obtained for free with proper identification.
RESERVATIONS FOR PASSES NOT PICKED UP BY 11 AM ON THE DAY OF USE MAY BE CANCELED AND THE PASSES GIVEN TO OTHER PATRONS.
Each museum/attraction has its own rules and some passes require a co-pay to be paid with admission. See our pass policy for details. Our staff is happy to answer questions about passes at any time. Returnable passes may be returned in their pouch in the book drop at the lower entrance 24 hours per day. The fine for late passes is $3 per day.
We have passes for:
New England Aquarium in Boston (SEE NOTE BELOW IN RED.)
CLICK HERE to book a pass from home if you are a Holliston resident and have read our pass policy. To see the passes you have booked or to cancel, click on "My Passes" on the right side.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE AQUARIUM IN BOSTON NOW REQURES TIMED TICKETS. PATRONS USING LIBRARY PASSES CANNOT GET TIMED TICKETS UNTIL THEY ARRIVE AT THE AQUARIUM ITSELF. THE AQUARIUM IS ADVISING LIBRARY USERS TO ARRIVE EARLY AND GET IN LINE AT THE BOX OFFICE.
The Friends of the Library sell discount tickets to Southwick's Zoo in Mendon for $13 each. Regular admission is $20 for adults and $15 for children aged 3-12 and seniors aged 62 and over. Children 2 and under are free. Tickets are undated and can be used any time during the season. Purchase tickets with cash or by check at the Children's Desk. They make great gifts, too. Live outside the Holliston area? We will mail tickets upon receipt of a check or money order and a self- addressed stamped envelope. All sales are final.
All passes are gifts of the Holliston Newcomers Club except those with one asterisk which are gifts of the Holliston Garden Club and those with two asterisks which are gifts of the Friends of the Library.
