Please sign up at the children's desk for all activities other than story hours. All activities will take place in the Gilman Room unless stated otherwise.

John Powers, "Making a Band," Fridays, 3:00-4:00: September 17, 24, and
Halloween Party, 11:30 am - 1:00 pm, Monday, October 25: Ages Infant-5 year olds. Please bring a picnic lunch and drink for your child. Costumes optional.

Yetti Frenkel, Cinquan Workshop, Tuesday, September 14, 3:30-5:30 pm: The cinquain is a simple, five line poetry form that can be edited and rewritten to produce a truly extraordinary work. Anyone can write a cinquain, which is based on parts of speech. In this two hour workshop children compose a poem, then illustrate their poem in a five page, accordion fold book. Children learn about editing and effective language, using simile and metaphor as inspiration for poems, and illustration concepts for effective visual communication. After school program for ages 7 and up. (This program is supported in part by a grant from the Holliston Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.)

Debi Willoughby, "Jungle Encounters," Tuesday, September 21, 3:30-4:30 pm: Come to a "Wild Animal Show" and learn about how animals survive in the wild, where they live in the wild and why it is so important to conserve their habitat, and much, much more! See 6 animals up close. All ages welcome.
Doug Bernard, Free Chess Lesson, Thursday, September 30, 6:00-7:30 pm: Ages 6 to 16.
Pamela PinterParsons, "YogaDance, Music, Movement and More," Saturday, October 16, 11:30 am: Come move and groove to music designed to open up your energy centers using easy to follow yoga based movements and your imagination! All ages - great for teens too!
Monica Bleasius, "Mrs. Claus", Saturday, December 4, 11:30 am: Monica dresses up as Mrs. Claus to tell stories with audience participation. All ages welcome.
Pamela PinterParsons, "Holiday/Winter Magic" Music, Movement, & More, Tuesday, December 14, 3:30 pm: Come sing and dance to celebrate the holidays and winter with Pamela! Family program for all ages!
